The sidebar showed every page in one fixed order. The time format and the first day of the week couldn't be chosen, and the start page could only be set from a menu on Home.

Settings now has a Sidebar section. Each page under Main and My Life, and the Shared section, can be set to Always show or Never show. A hidden page leaves the sidebar only: it still opens from the command menu (⌘ K, or Ctrl K on Windows and Linux), its link and its shortcut, such as G then U for Upcoming. Drag a row's grip, or choose Move up or Move down, to reorder pages within their group. Turning off Show task count hides the number of open tasks next to Inbox and Today, and Reset to default undoes everything.

In the new Date & time section, Time format sets 24-hour or 12-hour for the times on tasks, the calendar's hours, the start-time picker and a habit's scheduled time. By default it follows the language: 12-hour in English, 24-hour in German. Week start can be any of the seven days. Calendar grids, date pickers and the habit week strip begin on it, weekly habit percentages are counted over it, and Next week lands on it.

Preferences has a new Default start page row, the same setting as Default start page in the ⋯ menu on Home. Both now offer Last visited next to Home, Inbox and Today. With it, Heym opens on the last page visited: a list, a view, or a single project, goal or life area, with a project reopening on its last tab. The last page is remembered per browser and device, and cleared on sign-out.
