Command menu

Pressing ⌘ K, or Ctrl K on Windows and Linux, used to list your whole account before you had typed a character. It now shows only what you can do: Create, and Go to with every main page under it. Start typing and Quick results appears above them, searching tasks, goals, projects, notes, habits, labels and life areas together in one list. Create task stays there whatever you type, so a search that finds nothing still offers Create task "renew the passport".

Select several tasks and ⌘ K opens on that selection. The menu leads with what you can do to all of them: set priority, change labels, set a date, set an alignment, mark complete, delete. Priority, date and alignment write every task at once and leave an Undo that puts each one back. Change labels stays open for several changes, ticking a label that is on all of the tasks and dashing one that is on only some.

Every place in Go to has a two-key shortcut printed beside it: G then I for Inbox, G then T for Today, G then R for Projects. They stand down while you are typing.

Press ? for the full list. It now covers writing too: everything you can press inside a note or a task description, and every markdown shortcut that converts as you type.
